It all started more than 40 years ago when the hotel’s French owner had vivid dreams of turtles as a child and always wondered what that turtle in his dreams meant. About 25 years ago, while visiting Costa Rica and dreaming of a hotel project, he stumbled upon a trail leading into a beautiful jungle hilltop on a mountain surrounded by amazing Pacific Ocean views, on that trail was a turtle crossing his path... as soon as he saw that turtle knew that this is where he would build his remarkable hotel.
The hotel has 49 guestrooms with 8 room types from Standard rooms with garden views to Master Suites with private pools and jungle or ocean views.
Also available is Zephyr Palace, with 7 different themed suites like the Egyptian Suite or the grand Imperial Suite – all with private Jacuzzis and amazing ocean views.

February – April / December20, 2012: Room rates start at $185 for a Standard room at Villa Caletas and $330 - $1510 for a Theme Suite at Zephyr Palace. All second, fourth and so on nights are $20 on any of the room types.
May – November 2012: Room rates start at $165 for a Standard room at Villa Caletas and $330 - $1510 for a Theme Suite at Zephyr Palace. All second, fourth and so on nights are $20 on any of the room types.

All rates include: Free internet and national calls, Welcome cocktail.
