I loved Villa Caletas!! I went with my boyfriend and we stayed for three nights in a junior suite. The room and jacuzzi were amazing, the staff was very helpful and available at all times, the food was great and the view was incredible.

Our honeymoon was at Zephyr Palace. The hotel site is beautiful and the staff was first class: very, very helpful, there were even origami towels with flower blossoms for us everyday (2 swans, heart shapes, etc). The food at the restaurant was very good, a mixture of costa rican and more american fare on the menu. The views from the rooms and particular Zephyr palace infinity pool are breath-taking. We literally spent several hours just paddling around the inifinity pool and watching the sunset.

My wife and I have just spent our second weekend away without children (our first being last year at the same place). The hotel is simply wonderful and the staff are very friendly. If you can afford it, splash out and go for one of the superior suites. The rooms are wonderful and the hot tub overlooking Jaco bay is luxurious. Food is great and again the views from the Ampitheatre restaurant looking out towards Nicoya are incredible. A must for a relaxing weekend away.

Put this hotel at the top of your list when visiting Costa Rica! Where do I start to describe such a wonderful experience - the drive to the top of this lush mountain with panaromic scenery; the friendly staff; the one of a kind sunset from the amphitheatre; clean, beautiful room; excellent meals in the dining room - breakfast to dinners; best margaritas!!; a unique infinity pool with incredible views; enjoyed and made purchases in the gift shop which I rarely do! We walked to the Zephyr Palace and enjoyed the views; and so glad that we took the trip to the private beach which was remarkable! Enjoy everything that this hotel has to offer!

Everyone at the Villa did a great job. My wife and I enjoyed our time here and they took care of us the whole time. The location is great but the staff makes this place fantastic. Food was great and so was the staff. They were always helpful and responsive. We did not have a language issue, most of the staff speaks English with little issue. Edgardo was great to us! Sun sets at the bar were the highlight of this location.
